studio policies

Here at Bridge Piano Studios, I am deeply invested in the success of each individual student. In order to provide you with the best overall experience, I ask that you please observe the following policies:

• Bridge Piano Studios welcomes enrollment anytime–all year round!
• Students may choose to enroll in weekly 30 or 45 minute lessons.
• Upon enrolling, a one time $30 registration fee per student will be due (see details below).
• Before being officially accepted to the studio, you will be contacted to set up a meet and greet to complete registration.

• Tuition per month is $105 for 30 minute lessons, $155 for 45 minute lessons, 
• Tuition includes all monthly fees with the exception of the one time registration fee.
• Beginner students (those who have never had lessons before) must start with 30 minute lessons. 
• A 10% discount will be applied for families with three or more students enrolled each month.
• Payment is due by the 5th of each month via Venmo or Zelle.
• Any payment received after the 5th of each month will be charged a $10 late fee
• Monthly invoices will be sent. A new invoice will be sent if payment is late.
• What tuition includes (contact us if interested in a fees sheet):
  • Designated weekly time slot
  • Access to exclusive studio resources (learning tools, games, etc.)
  • Development of exclusive studio resources
  • Research and exploration of ideas for new and effective strategies to accommodate the specific needs of each student
  • Recital participation (2 per year)
  • Incentive programs
  • Piano maintenance
  • Studio expenses (printing, computer software, iPad apps, etc.)
  • Recital expenses
  • Lending library
  • University education, training, and experience

• Upon enrolling, students are charged a one time registration fee of $30/student. This fee includes a piano lesson binder, bag, and pencil.

• If a student wishes to withdraw, a 30-day notice is required.
• Tuition is never refunded, even if withdrawal is in the middle of the month.
• Partial tuition in a given month is not acceptable (due to vacation, injuries, etc.). 
• If you must miss lessons for a month and desire to keep your spot (due to vacation, injuries, etc.), a $30 hold fee per student will be required. 2 month maximum for holds.
• Bridge Piano Studios reserves the right to terminate enrollment in lessons, in which case prorated tuition may be refunded.

• Students are assigned a specific lesson time per semester (Spring, Summer, Fall) and cannot be guaranteed a change in the middle of a semester.
• To keep the studio efficiently running, the lesson will always end at the time you registered for, no matter what time you arrive for your lesson–so please arrive on time!
• If you cannot make your assigned lesson time, you have a few options:
  • Zoom lesson (only to be done during your assigned lesson time, or a time you have swapped with another student)
  • Video lesson: the student and parent record a video of their playing at any point during the week and send it. The video will be reviewed during your lesson time and you will receive a reply via another video or text notes.
• Makeup lessons are discouraged, but I will work with you if needed.

• Bridge Piano Studios will apply a $50 referral credit to any family that refers another family to take lessons. Please email us with your name and the referred family’s name to receive the credit. Also, make sure to tell the referred family to include your name on their registration form.

• Client assumes all risk of injury of harm to the child(ren) or adult(s) associated with participation in musical activities at Bridge Piano Studios and agree to release, indemnify, defend and forever discharge Bridge Piano Studios and its owners from all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, and expenses in the unlikely event of injury sustained by your child(ren) or adult student during the course or as a result of their participation in Bridge Piano Academy’s  musical activities, recitals, or lessons.

• Unless requested in writing, Bridge Piano Studios is granted permission to take photographs/videos of the students to use in brochures, websites, posters, advertisements, newsletters, social media and other promotional materials Bridge Piano Studios creates.  Permission is also hereby granted for Bridge Piano Studios to copyright such photographs in its name.
